Thanks for the Hartman Mod info, Peter! It was also a thrill to get a letter from Finland! But even if I was successful with the mod and liked the sound, I would still be stuck with that bloated, overweight muffler that looks like a propane tank attached to the side of the bike! What I'll probably do is order a Jardine slip-on. I've seen a picture of this muffler on a Savage, and I think it looks like it belongs on the bike, and that slash-cut exit looks great, too!
